This term in maths, we will be learning about decimals, money, time, shape, statistics and position and direction.  June is also the time we take the statutory times table check, as set by the government.  Hopefully all our Rock Stars efforts will pay off!

Our science topic is animals including humans where we will look at the muscular, skeletal and digestive systems as well as teeth and nutritionally balanced diets.

In English, we will be looking at and writing our own stories with historical settings, adventure stories, non-chronological reports, persuasion and instructions.  By now, we should be using a whole host of literary devices in our writing in order to engage the reader.

The summer's PSHE units are relationships and changing me.

Our new history topic is the stone age to iron age - be prepared to be wowed with some amazing facts from this era!

In geography, we will be looking at different types of maps and comparing places.

Again, be prepared to be wowed by your child's artistic skills when we sketch a dinosaur eye!  We then move onto study Quentin Blake's work. 

RE endeavours to answer two big questions... "why is there so much diversity in belief in Christianity?" and "What does sacrifice mean?".

During the summer term, PE focuses on athletics and rounders.

Computing looks at online safety, word processing skills and coding.
