This term, Y4 will be looking at a variety of themes including Climate Change and Earth and Space. 

In maths, we will ensure our knowledge of times tables is secure for rapid recall, in any order all the way up to 12 x 12.  We will also be learning about multiplication, division, perimeter, fractions and decimals.

In English, we will begin by looking at structured poems, explanations, author study sci-fi and creation stories.

Our science topics will cover the water cycle as well as Earth and Space.  Later on in the term, we will be designing and sewing our own space patchworks so please send in any off-cuts of material you might have , especially if space themed!

RE this term endeavours to answer the question "How do religious groups contribute to society and culture?".

In geography, we will be looking at measuring the weather, climate change and coastal erosion. 

Art/DT this term includes designing and making robotic hands as well as our science linked space patchworks. 

PSHE is centred around the topic of Dreams and Goals followed by Healthy Me.  We also cover equality, diversity, inclusivity and tolerance as always.  

Our focus in PE is a mixture of dance, gymnastics and games with Mr. North.
