Year 2 is taught by Ms Devenish on Mondays and Tuesdays and Mrs Ash on Wednesdays,Thursdays and Fridays.  

Swimming is on MONDAY, P.E. is on THURSDAY and FRIDAY. 

PLEASE ensure that earrings are taken out on these days and the children have a PE kit in school - this consists of a white T-shirt, black shorts, trainers and as the colder months draw in a pair of black joggers and a plain zip top or jumper. We ask that ALL items of clothing (including shoes) are clearly named. 

Weekly Parent Reading

This will start on Thursday 17th September 2026 and will take place each Thursday morning after this date. If you are able to, please head into the classroom at morning drop off time (from 8.35am) to hear your child read in the classroom. Please do not worry if you are unable to attend, as for those children not reading to their adult, they will share a story with one of the Year 2 Team altogether on the carpet area. We shall look forward to seeing you!
