Good Morning Reception,

As I am uploading your work this afternoon (Sunday 7th), I can see the snow falling outside. Did you see any out of your window too? It's so exciting isn't it?! I'm not sure how much of this snow will settle and if any will last through the night so it has been a bit tricky to plan for our week ahead...

If you are reading this and there is lots of snow outside, I understand that you will be eager to get out and play and I would never want to discourage this. Snow is such great fun and there are lots of learning opportunities to be had in it too! So please prioritise some fun in the snow, your phonics and maths will always be here for you to come back to later or another day.

I have also included a few snow related activities as part of your Explore Time Bingo Board for this week, so you might even be able to tick some of these off while you are out and about. And for those of you that prefer to enjoy the snow from your window, there are a couple of snow-themed tasks that can be done indoors too. As we never know how accurate the weather app will be, I have only included a few as it may be business as usual tomorrow... we shall see!
