    What is Enhanced Provision?

Enhanced provision is a teaching method in primary education that provides children with learning opportunities throughout the day in their classroom. It can have many benefits for children, including:

•Self-directed learning: Children can choose their own activities and explore at their own pace.

•Independence: Children develop the skills they need to become confident and self-sufficient adults.

•Learning conversations: Children and adults can have learning conversations that help model and extend speech and vocabulary.

•Consolidation of learning: Children can return to their explorations and consolidate their learning over time.

•Exploration of new ideas: Children can make changes to explore new ideas.

•Unique work: Each child's work is unique because they respond in their own way.

    Our Rainbow Challenges!

    In the Autumn Term...

•Seven challenges, linked to National Curriculum learning objectives, are presented each week for the children to complete.

•There is a rainbow challenge sheet for each child to colour in as they complete each challenge, and children will get a certificate on a Friday if they complete all 7 activities.

•Tasks will be recorded in various ways: worksheets, books, photographs, conversation or practical.

•Adults in provision will help model and extend learning.
