Salt Dough Modelling
You can make just about anything with salt dough and it is so easy to make!
You will need:
1 cup plain flour (about 250g)
1/2 cup salt (about 125g)
1/2 cup water (about 125ml)
Step 1
Preheat you oven to its lowest setting and line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
Step 2
Mix the salt and flour in a bowl. Add the water and mix until it come together in a ball.
Step 3
Transfer to a lightly floured board and mould into your preferred model or shape. You can really let you imagination run wild here, use your hands, cutters, tools anything to help create fantastic models.
Step 4
Put your finished creation onto the baking paper and place in the oven for 3 hours, or until it is solid.
Step 5
Once it is cool, you can paint or decorate your model.
Warning - Please make sure an adult helps you when you are using the oven, especially when taking models out as they will be very hot.
