• Year 3 Meadgate Reading revised list

• Weekly Parent Reading

  This will take place each Wednesday morning. If you are able to, please head up the external stairs and into the Year 3 classroom at morning drop off time (from 8.35am) to hear your child read in the classroom. Please do not worry if you are unable to attend: all children will have the opportunity to read and share books, but if you can come along, we shall look forward to seeing you!

Year 3 Spelling

Your child will have a list of spellings to learn, having been assessed at the beginning of the year. These are personalised so do not be concerned if your child's sheet is different from a friend's. As soon as they are able to spell some of these words, send your child back into school with their sheet so we can do a quick check. Then we will move them on to their next lot of spellings.
