  Regrettably we have taken the decision to close the school tomorrow (Friday 2^nd March 2018). As you know we opened today when conditions at 7am were good to do so. Unfortunately further heavy snowfalls and freezing conditions have caused the roads to worsen as the day has progressed. Therefore, with freezing temperatures expected overnight and snow predicted to fall tomorrow in the form of Storm Emma, we have decided to close the school on Friday 2nd March 2018 in order to protect the safety of pupils, their parents and our staff.

  Today our school managed to remain open, despite the dreadful weather, largely due to our site manager's exceptional efforts to clear snow and ice.

  Regrettably, today's heavy snow and freezing temperatures, together with the overnight forecast for more freezing conditions, means that there is a strong chance that the school will not be safe for pupils tomorrow (Friday). I am also concerned that staff will not be able to get to school. Unless conditions improve significantly, the school is very likely to be closed tomorrow. Please check the website for confirmation.
